Wharton Course on Financial Crisis - Available to Alumni
The Economic & Financial Crisis: Causes, Consequences and Policy Options
Wharton professor Mauro Guillen's new spring semester course, The Economic & Financial Crisis: Causes, Consequences and Policy Options, features lectures by faculty experts from across Wharton and Penn's academic departments. Alumni may access videos of the faculty lectures through their WhartonConnect accounts. While Guillen is leading the course, other faculty are contributing lectures, including Jeremy Siegel on stock markets; Jennifer Amyx, a political science scholar on Japan's financial crisis; Bulent Gultekin, a former governor of Turkey's central bank; and Joseph Gyourko, Wharton's Martin Bucksbaum professor of real estate and finance, on the role of the housing market in preciptating the crisis.
