WCNJ Career Services Announcement
Calling all jobs!! The Wharton Club of NJ is happy to introduce our very own job posting board. We are doing everything we can to help our members succeed in the current economic climate including posting job openings specifically by and for Wharton alumni. Members just need to click on the Job Postings pod located on the left of the club home page directly under the sign in section to view current listings. All of the job openings listed will be either with companies owned/managed by WCNJ members, or by colleagues of members. The jobs may be full-time, part-time or temporary in nature and must include a specific person to contact regarding information. They will be continually vetted and updated by our WCNJ Career Team. If you have a job to post please send the following information to WCNJCareerServices@comcast.net: One paragraph describing job responsibilities and who should apply; the Wharton Club member who is affiliated with the posting; the person (name and email) to whom any resumes should be sent. This service is free to members and is another member benefit of the Wharton Club of NJ. Please contact Sharon Kornstein, skornstein2@comcast.net or Gary Loew, GaryL@champion-workflow.com for more information. We would also like to inform our members of the many career services that are available to alumni through the University. For Undergraduate Alumni: The Career Services office at Penn offers an array of lifelong services to help Wharton and other undergraduate alumni clarify and achieve their career goals. Services are available for alumni seeking new job opportunities as well as those applying to graduate or professional school. You can view the complete list of services available on the Career Services website: http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/wharton/alumni.html. For MBA Alumni: The Wharton MBA Career Management office believes that career development is a lifelong process. Their goal is to provide Wharton alumni with valuable resources and information to effectively navigate through the career management process and facilitate successful career transitions. To this end, they have compiled a comprehensive array of over 40 resources for exclusive MBA alumni use at http://mbacareers.wharton.upenn.edu, select "Alumni" and enter your Wharton ID / password. To receive a detailed informational brochure for either Undergraduate Alumni or Wharton MBA Alumni, please email WCNJCareerServices@comcast.net.
