During his excellent September 28 presentation to the Wharton Club of New Jersey, Professor Wyner talked about how sometimes a string of results is just due to chance even when we are tempted to see a pattern.

As you're probably aware, we've had to cancel two events in a row - we've rescheduled the October event on using social media to December(see below) and we had to cancel the November event that so many of us were looking forward to on Networking Without Networking due to issues beyond our control with the venue.
We continue to work very hard to bring you outstanding speakers, stimulating conversation, and fun events. Most of the time, things work out great. But every once in awhile something happens that cause us to cancel. It's even rarer when it happens twice in a row. We think Professor Wyner would say its just bad luck.
We value and respect all of our members and alumni and you deserve transparency when things don't go our way as well as when they do.
