Wharton Club of New Jersey's 7th Annual Entrepreneur Showcase and Pitch Event

Are you an entrepreneur who is or will be raising capital from outside investors? Are you looking for services from a trusted network of quality people? Or may you know an entrepreneur who is interested in creating an investment network.

Did you graduate from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton or other Penn school), or are part of another NJ/NY based Ivy League alumni club community?

Register now for this unique opportunity to pitch your business to a panel of angel and venture capital investors, and network with a broad range of influencers from the Wharton/Penn community on January 30, 2025, 5:30-8:30pm.

This event is a great opportunity to learn and connect. It sells out and we expect to quickly reach our limit for both “pitch” slots and general attendance.

You don’t have to be a Wharton/Ivy alum to showcase. Companies can pitch if they are Wharton/Penn or Ivy adjacent, meaning as long as they have some affiliation with a member of one of the clubs.

We will have leading Angels and VCs who invest in East Coast start-ups on our panel. Come prepared and give it a shot!

Here’s what you need to do now to participate:

1. SPACE IS LIMITED. Go to the Link and indicate whether you want to apply to pitch your idea and talk to our investor panel in front of a live audience.

2. If you want to pitch, fill out the WHARTON ENTREPRENEUR PITCH APPLICATION BY December 20, 2024 – note: this application must be filled out in its entirety for consideration to pitch. Members of other NJ based Ivy League alumni clubs are welcome to participate with confirmation of membership in their respective clubs. 

3. Every entrepreneur that applies and is accepted, will be given a table to showcase the company, whether or not he/she chooses to pitch.

4. Confirm that you or your sponsor are and will be a WCNJ Supporting (dues-paying) member, or a member of another ivy or similar alumni club, on the Event Date (1/30/25).
