When you attend networking or business meetings, are you successful in promoting yourself? Are you unsure of the best ways to do this? Would you like to improve your technique? Do you leave the meeting feeling that you really accomplished something? If you would like to improve your networking skills and get better at "working the room", you should attend our meeting on November 19, 2015. These techniques are relevant to advancing your career and/or to developing business for, and growing, your organization.
Our speaker for the event is Marty Latman. Called by some people as the Best Networker they know, Marty will present the basic tools you need to use when attending networking events. Marty is the chairman of the Bergen Chapter of Financial Executive Network Group (FENG), which he created in March 2002 with 29 members. Membership within this chapter has now grown to over 4,500 members. Since its inception, FENG-Bergen Chapter has successfully helped more than 1,100 of its members find gainful employment. He is also the chairman of NJ Strategic Executive Networking Group (NJSENG), a FEI member, and a member of over 20 other career networking groups.
Join us for an exciting evening to learn what you really must do to make your presence at a networking event successful. And oh, by the way, dinner that night will be barbecue (think ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, slaw, etc.) from Oink & Moo, one of NJ’s premier barbecue caterers.
