Ratan Agarwal (Moderator): WG’94; Co-founder & Managing Partner, CARBON Group Global. With a professional career spanning nearly three decades in technology leadership, management consulting, incubating new businesses and portfolios, Ratan is channeling all this experience and energy in supporting innovative businesses through his participation in incubators, accelerators, angel investing, and sustainability acceleration platform called CARBON Group.
Philip Wilson, WG94 – Founder & CEO, Ecofiltro. Phil has successfully built impact business called Ecofiltro whose immediate mission is to bring clean water sustainably to 1M rural families in Guatemala by the year 2025. He was named Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 by the Schwab Foundation of Switzerland and in the same year won the Sustainable Brands Innovation Open in San Diego, California and the G20 Social Business Challenge in Los Cabos, Mexico. Ecofiltro has delivered over 500,000 Ecofiltros to date that have benefited over 2.5M people in Mexico and Central America. In 2020 Ecofiltro became a B Corp. Through his own life-journey, starting with a traditional NGO, and then transitioning to a market-based model, Phil is the biggest champion of market-based social impact models to solve the world’s problems.
Dr. Todd Phillips – Founder & President, The Last Well. A pastor by training, Todd has led the pioneering work for the last eleven years to bring basic clean water access to an entire nation for the first time in history – Liberia – one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world. Along the way, they did the groundbreaking work of using grounds-up data intelligence and analytics to build a fuller view of the population, leverage of ecosystem of NGOs and local churches, and $30m+ in successful capital raise.
