The Wharton Club of NJ recently launched the Essex County leads council in response to calls for more non-competitive Leads Councils in diverse geographic locations in NJ.
SEEKING: Wharton Entrepreneurs - Consultants - Business Development Professionals – Small Business Owners - Sales and other Professionals
The new “WCNJ Leads Council of Essex County” will meet monthly at a breakfast meeting (8:15-9:45 a.m.). The location will be shared with attendees after they have been accepted and officially registered.
The WCNJ Leads Council of Essex County is a networking group open only to members of the Wharton Club of New Jersey who live, work or do business in NJ. All members are welcome to join a first meeting, but you must be a dues paying member (“Supporting Member”) of the Wharton Club of New Jersey to become an ongoing member of a Leads Council. As described below, our non-competitive councils allow only one member representing each industry area within each networking group.
Membership will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Wharton Club of NJ is committed to providing members with both the networking forum and networking coaching, so that all members get the most out of one of the greatest business networks in the world – Wharton alumni!
How to participate:
Our next meeting will be November 17th from 8:15-9:45 a.m. There is a registration fee of $10.

The aim of the Wharton NJ Leads Council program is to build interlocking networks of entrepreneurial, professional, business development and sales executives, working together across internally non-competitive professions. It provides a dedicated forum for Wharton alumni to grow their businesses by sharing new business leads and business development growth opportunities, while also serving as a business incubator where members can learn from and support each other. Leads Council members are motivated executives and professionals committed to helping other Wharton alumni reach their business goals, while gaining the support and leads they need to grow their own businesses.
The new Leads Council of Essex County is looking for members in such industry areas as:
- Commercial Real Estate
- Information Technology Consulting
- Management Consulting
- Executives in Small and Emerging Growth Businesses
